District 98 STEM Scholarship Foundation

District 98 STEM Scholarship Foundation is dedicated to providing financial assistance to students who are citizens of the United States and residents of the 98th House District of Texas who will be attending a post-secondary education institution or an institution of higher education as defined by section 61.003(8) of the Texas Education Code and who have an intention to major in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

The Foundation is a not for profit corporation organized under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  Accordingly, the corporation can neither participate or intervene in in any political campaign nor apply any political considerations in awarding scholarships.

The Foundation and the scholarships it awards are totally dependent on the generosity of our sponsors and donors.  Realizing that our funding is unlikely to be sufficient for full scholarships, our goal is to provide some measure of help for students in their pursuit of an expensive and demanding degree program.  We believe that, in some instances, just a little help may go a long way.

The officers of the Foundation and associate board members are volunteers who serve without remuneration.
